Camila joined OAC Brazil staff in 2001, and Bruno joined in 2002. They are married and are studying to receive their Bachelor of Theology degrees. Both are native Brazilians.
They are based in Campinas, in the State of São Paulo. OAC Brazil Board, and OAC - Overseas Ministries based in Atlanta, are both overseeing their ministry.
They work with churches, leading them out for evangelism. Their ministry includes:
Open air meetings
In the big cities of Brazil, in just one meeting, it is possible to reach 100 - 200 people. Many are responding to Christ in these meetings.
School Meetings
The Gospel can be preached very clearly in a school, just the same as if it were being preached in a church. It is incredible to see how the students of all ages and many teachers are so open to the message of Christ.
Indian tribes
Many Indian tribes are being reached in different parts of Brazil, including the Amazon. Usually the local missionaries are very much alone, and welcome OAC to work in partnership with them. OAC helps and encouraging them to evangelize new areas where evangelicals are very few, or do not even exist.
Isolated villages
Brazil has thousands and thousands of very isolated people living in small towns or villages. The situation is very similar to the Indian tribes. Local missionaries have been forsaken by their home churches, there are no evangelicals, and conditions are very primitive. God is using OAC to have amazing meetings in these places, with hundreds being reached with the Gospel.
Other meetings
Other places where OAC has tremendous opportunities for evangelism are prisons, orphanages, old people's homes, drug recovery home, etc.
Training
OAC gives evangelism training in local churches and Bible Schools.
