Situated between Florida and Cuba, this Archipelago of 700 coral islands, 40 of which are inhabited, has a population of about 360,000. The capital is Nassau with 163,000. Although many consider themselves to be Christians, each generation needs to be evangelized. Materialism through tourism and drug money has deeply affected every level of society. There is a 55% illegitimacy rate, widespread drug addiction and family breakdown. Only God knows how many are truly “born again.” OAC Bahamas officially became a branch in 2012, and is registered with the government. Schools are wide open for evangelism, and OAC evangelists can freely proclaim the gospel to thousands of students. There is also religious freedom for open air evangelism. The great need in the churches is for revival and a missionary vision. As OAC holds outreaches with them, we pray that many will come to know Christ and want to be involved in His Great Commission to evangelize the Bahamas and Caribbean. | Park meeting | School assembly | | OAC Bahamas Board | High School assembly
